He was predeceased by: his parents, Lesla Lee and Esther Leins (Freed); his brother Eldon; his sister-in-law Beatrice Leins; his sister Iris; and his brothers-in-law, George Haskins and James Merrick.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary (Sarah Leins), Randy (Robin Leins) and Larry (Ginny Leins); his grandchildren, Stacy Schmidt (Andy), Jessica Fryback (Justin), Matt Leins (Tessa), Kyle Leins, Brandon Leins (Kelly), Landon Leins (Taylor Rayle) and Brooke Richardson (Blake); his great grandchildren, Connor Schmidt, Reese Schmidt, Quinn Schmidt, Addy Reinoehl, Aubrey Leins, Nash Leins, Destiny Leins, Miah Leins, Kayla Leins, Braden Leins and Braxton Leins; his great great grandchildren, Breylin Hicks and Brohdi Hicks; his siblings, Doris Merrick of Blue Springs, MO and Herb; and his sister-in-law Carole Leins of Fort Wayne.
Memorials can be given in memory of Junior to Northeast Indiana Honor flight or DeKalb County 4-H.
