He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Oscar Vitalas and Maxine Lenora Rosen (Buckles). He is survived by: his wife Pamela J. Garriott (Irwin); his sons, Troy Rosen of West Point and Trevor Rosen of West Point; his stepsons, Wade Garriott (Jenny), Odell and Ryan Garriott (Aubrey); his siblings, Sonya Meadows (Brad) and Ronald Rosen (Shirley); his grandchildren, Seth Rosen of Lafayette, Trace Rosen of Lafayette and Tisha Forkeotes of Fredericksburg, VA; his stepgrandchildren, Cole, Clint, Cline, Cale, Maeley, Gabby, Maddie, Raelor, Rylon and Ramsey Garriott; his great grandchildren, Mackenze and Kaden Forkeotes; and his stepgrandson Xavier Doyle.
