With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Edward Hughes (Anderson, Indiana), who passed away on April 8, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lindell Hughes and Clema Hughes (Ledbetter); his brothers, Howard Hughes, Baxter Hughes and Bobby Hughes; his son Daniel Hughes; and his former wife Kay Hughes.

He is survived by: his wife Jessann Hughes (Phillips) of Frankton; his brother Keith Hughes; his sons, Alvin Hughes, Daryl Hughes (Robin) and Donovan Hughes; his grandsons, Brandon, Cody, Mason, Brock Hughes and Jacob Colson; and his great grandchildren, Bracken, Ashton, Alyssa, Abby, Libby Hughes and Carter Downing.

Memorial contributions may be given to Shriner's Children's Hospital.
