He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Porter and Mary Pauline Porter (Brown). He is survived by: his wife Cherylle Porter (Ake); his children, Amy Pendley, Amanda Collins, Ross Anderson (Maria) and Christine Anderson; and his siblings, Paula Geschwind and Kenneth Porter (Vicki). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
