He was predeceased by: his father William L. Boyer; his brothers, William "Bud" Boyer, Jr., Bobbie, Billy and Joseph Earl Boyer; his brother-in-law Dan Smith; his aunt Audrey; his uncle Wayne Lashure; his cousin Mary White; and his grandparents, Edgar, Dee Hull and Lula Lowe.
He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Boyer (Buchanan); his children, Angel Hunt (Jim) and Richard "Rick" Boyer, Jr. (Amy); his mother Pearl Neighbert (Hull); his stepmother Carol Boyer; his grandchildren, Blake, Ryan Boyer, Cody Hunt (Kendyl), A. Jalen Hunt and Kylie Coble (Thomas); his great grandchildren, Quinton Coble and Braxton "Bo" Coble; and his siblings, Vicky Cantrell, Joyce Goodman (Mike), Diana Gibson (Tom), Debbie Savage, Deanna Smith, Shelia Ochoa (Junior) and Rob Boyer. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Warrior Dog Foundation or Wounded Warriors.
