With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Primus J. Mootry Jr. of Anderson, Indiana, who passed away on March 31, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Primus J. Mootry, Sr. and Helen M. Rushing; his son Benjamin Gregory Mootry; and his sister Dr. Maria K. Mootry. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Mootry; his children, Angela Mootry Fisher and Martin Thompson; his grandchildren, Gregory Scott Rhone-Mootry and Jordan Raquelle Fisher; his great grandchild Gregory Scott Rhone-Mootry, Jr.; his siblings, Constance Yokley (Kevin), Beverly Ware and Janice Nolan Sorensen (Leif); and his brothers-in-law, R. Kenneth, Jeffery A. Johnson (Janet) and Bruce A. Johnson (Daphne). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He also served as the Executive Director of the Better Boys Foundation.
