She was predeceased by: her husband Bob D. Paynter; and her son-in-law John Gibbs. She is survived by: her children, Bob Paynter and Dawn Gibbs; her grandsons, Clint Gibbs (Lacey) and Tyler Paynter (Ashley); and her great grandchildren, Ian and Odin Paynter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protection League.
