He was predeceased by: his father John E. Hodson; his son Jeffrey E. Hodson; and his sister Sandy Hodson. He is survived by: his wife Marleen Breece; his children, Misty Ellis (Billy), Jerry Hodson, Jr. (Rose) and Jacqueline Hodson; his grandchildren, Zachary Wensel, Brittany Ellis, Quentin Ellis, Jason Hodson, Amanda Hodson, JJ Hodson, Buford Hatter and Christopher Hodson; his brother Johnny E. Hodson; and also Carter Pierce. He is also survived by many other great-grandchildren.
