He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gladys Appleby and Disbennett; his wife Barbara Appleby (Saine); his children, Vicki R. Appleby and Michael R. Appleby; his granddaughters, Aimee Flatt (Brent) and Jennifer Boyett; his great grandchildren, Nathan Kuznicki, William McGregor, Elizabeth McGregor and Vanessa Flatt; his siblings, Brooke D. Appleby (Jacquelyn) of Florida and Linda Busby; and his stepfather Brooke Appleby. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
