He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Lawson and Thelma Lawson (Peyton); and his siblings, Shirley Fields, Richard Lawson and John Lawson.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Lawson (Lemon); his children, Richard Lawson-Muncie (Donna) and Karen Purkey-Summitville (Todd); his grandchildren, Courtney Purkey, Madison Purkey and Christian Lawson; his great grandchild OakLeigh; and his brother Donald Lawson-Anderson. He is also survived by son Nieces and nephews.
