With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Garrett Shelton (Alexandria, Indiana), born in Edmonton, Kentucky, who passed away on April 9, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Finis Garrett and Essie Garrett (Garmon); her husband Tom Shelton Jr.; her son Dennis Shelton; and her brother Radford Garrett.
She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Thompson-Anderson; her grandsons, Daniel Shelton, Andrew Shelton and Justin Thompson; her great grandchild Aidan Thompson; her sisters, Olene Crump-Ridgeville and Shelby Guffey-Frankton; and her daughter-in-law Caryl Shelton-Anderson. She is also survived by son Several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the activity department at Summit Health and Living, 701 South Main Street, Summitville, IN 46070.
