He was predeceased by: his parents, O. C. Howard and Dora Howard (Craft); his wife Nancy; his son Mike Howard; and his siblings, Betty Miller, Finette Rudd, Thelma Rudd, Eileen Davis and Junior Bailey.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Howard Friedman of Jasper, Rick Howard (Rebecca) of Rochester, Tim Howard (Betty) of Tippecanoe and Todd Howard (Deb) of Rochester; his stepchildren, Debra Hull (Marvin) of Boise, Eddie Reed of Macy and Mike Reed of Nappanee; and his brothers, Harold Howard of Rochester and Paul Howard of Rochester. He is also survived by many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great Great Grandchildren.
