He was predeceased by: his parents, Viola A. Reidel and Lowell M. Reidel; his son Jeffrey Scott Paquin; his great grandchild Logan Scott Zelen; and his great-nephew Gage Barlow.

He is survived by: his children, Wendy Barrett (Jason) of Alta Loma, John Paquin (Kristin), Leslie Paquin of Lake Geneva and Deborah Snyders (Tom) of Middleburg, Florida; his brother Roy Reidel (Barbara); his nephews, Matt Reidel (Liz), Jason Reidel (Kristy) and Adam Reidel (Gordon); and his niece Hope Reidel. He is also survived by grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
