With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wendal Wayne Beem (Zion, Illinois), who passed away on September 29, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Beem and Esther Beem; his siblings, Bernard Beem, Margueritte Brock and Darlene Hammond; and his granddaughter Erin Ashmore.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Beem; his children, Gregory Beem (Cindy), Timothy Beem (Sandra), Pamela Gustafson (Paul) and Angela Ashmore (David); and his grandchildren, Katie Osborne (Ben), Allison Shanteau (Cameron), Kara Melchiorre (Matt), Eric Beem (Christi), Janel Rehn (Soren), Michael Beem, Kristen Gustafson, Craig Gustafson (Sarah), Lauren Palmer (Adam), Tiffani Ashmore, Mark Ashmore (Jamie) and Bethani Alderks (Zac). He is also survived by twenty-three great-grandchildren, many dear nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Camp Zion or Zion Passion Play.
