It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Alvarez (Zion, Illinois), who passed away on February 12, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfonso Alvarez and Mary Alvarez (Romero); and his brother-in-law Virgil Renfroe. He is survived by: his friends, Jack, Tony, Genesee Street, Sherman Place, Mike, Bill, Doug and Jerry; his wife Shirlee; his children, Todd Alvarez (Helen) and Tamara Alvarez-Beaty (Christopher); his grandchildren, Tammie M. Alvarez, Austin Beaty (Kelsey), Benjamin Beaty and Alyssa Adams; his great grandchildren, Nash Beaty, Romy Beaty and Rocklin Beaty; his siblings, Helen Renfroe and Daniel Alvarez (Rosalind); and his sister-in-law Rosalie Duffy (Gary).
