It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lyle Snyder of Zion, Illinois, born in Duluth, Minnesota, who passed away on January 14, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern Snyder and Irene Snyder; his grandson Aaron Snyder; his daughter-in-law Jan Snyder; and his siblings-in-law, Jane Kilponen, Glenn Root, Alice Schroeder, Arthur Kilponen, Preston Root, Howard Schroeder and Chuck Franz.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Schroeder of Waukegan; his pet Fall; his sons, Rick (Kathie), Mike, Dan (Ellen) and Todd (Julie); his grandchildren, Mike (Keri), Kurt (Krysten), Erik (Lydia), Scott (Katie), Chad (Michelle), Brian, Holly (Jeremy), Mark (Lauren), Lindy, Elizabeth, Abigail, Makayla and Janaya; his great grandchildren, Kamden, Kenzi, Kayzlee, Judah, Naomi, Benjamin, Samuel, Avery, Finnley, Zoey, Hayden, Audrina, Maksim, Lillian, Winston, Lincoln, Elanor and Gideon; and his sister Lorraine Franz. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
