He was predeceased by: his parents, Burril Miller and Lena Miller (Schmidt); his sisters, Sue Cox (Charlie), Linda Warren (Paul) and Julieanne M. Walters (Allen); and his brothers-in-law, Duane Allen (Billie), Wayne Simmons and Robert L. Walters.

He is survived by: his wife Marcia Miller (Allen); his children, Joanna Gloria (Raul), Edward Miller and Kevin Miller (Lesli); his grandchildren, Shane Miller (Adriana Parsons), Sabrina Gloria (Dillon Romans), Alyson Gloria, Ashleigh, Caleb, Jacob, Ethan and Isaac Miller; his great grandchildren, Lylian and Jaxsyn Miller; his siblings, Billie Simmons, Steve "Kim" Miller and Marcia McCreary; and his sister-in-law Terry "Skeeter" Allen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews as well as great nieces and great nephews.
