She was predeceased by: her sister Karen Bunner (McDougal); and her parents, Harold McDougal and Helen McDougal. She is survived by: her husband Jerry; her children, Beth Hilbert (General Joe), Jerry Newbrough Jr. of Madison, WI and Nathan Newbrough (Julie Langoehr) of Milwaukee, WI.; her grandchildren, Joseph Hilbert III (Ann-Marie) of Grovetown, GA, Kathryn Johnston (Murray), Jack Hilbert of Hampden-Sydney, VA and Murphy Newbrough-Garde of Madison, WI.; her brothers, Harold McDougal (Andrea) of Greenwell Spings, LA and Jerry McDougal (Donna) of Millsboro, DE; and her sister-in-law Diane McDougal of Hagerstown, MD.

In honor of her life-long passion to offer hope to women and girls everywhere, the family is asking that donations be given in Kelsie's memory to PROJECT RESCUE through Journey Church, Kenosha, Wisconsin.
