She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Wedekind and Doris Wedekind; her sister Barbara Moore; and her daughter Sheryl Ann Blasco. She is survived by: her husband Douglas Baughman; her children, Dawn Stare (Raymond) and Kurt Baughman; her grandchildren, Noelle, Jordan, Audrey, Jared, Ian Blasco, Rachel Lautermilch (Michael), Ryan and Marissa Stare; and her brothers, Roger and Gilbert Wedekind.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Karen's name to Camp Zion.
