With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Pope in Zion, Illinois, born in Pana, Illinois, who passed away on December 5, 2021 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jerry Pope to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Pope and Rosamae Pope; and his siblings, Marlene Pope and Curtis Pope. He is survived by: his wife Marie Pador; his children, Richard Pope, Michael Pope (Caryn), Deanna Bailey (Rich) and Regina Griffith (Rob); his grandchildren, Brianne, Trevor, Chad Pope, Jenna (Betka-Pope), Jacob, Kevin Pope, Amy (Maksudian), Kaitlyn, Erin, Mikayla Bailey, Amanda and Blake Griffith; and his brother Dennis Pope. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made either to Helping Hands of Our Lady of Humility, or the Our Lady of Humility Church Food Pantry.
