It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Ruth Zukley of Zion, Illinois, who passed away on October 28, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emily Pratt and Alfred Pratt; her husband Ray; her siblings-in-law, Edward Zukley and Eleanor Konicek (Wigs); and her siblings, Laurie Pratt (Nell), Marion McCulloch (Glen), Vera Booth (Marvin), Kathleen Biddle (Beryl) and John Pratt.
She is survived by: her significant other Raymond; her children, Sandy Galgan (Richard) and Kenneth Zukley (Pamela); her grandchildren, Tadd Galgan (Christina), Mya Zukley Cyr (Mark), Pat Galgan, Jordan Zukley Nyberg (Christopher) and Ian Zukley (Kristen); her great grandchildren, Tillon, Briley, Victoria, Phillip, Kenshin, Miriam and Dakota; and her sister-in-law Betty Zukley.
The family would like to thank Rolling Hills Place and Manor for the wonderful and loving care given to her throughout the years and most recently their challenges as a result of Covid.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Irene's honor to Midwest Therapeutic Riding Program (horse therapy program for disabled children) 1451 172nd.
