We are sad to announce that on July 18, 2020, at the age of 95, Elaine Papineau of Zion, Illinois, born in Escanaba, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Elsacker and Martha Van Elsacker (Vennie); her husband Howard J. Papineau; her grandson Paul Goede; and her sister Murial Ellis.

She is survived by: her children, Thomas Papineau of Zion, IL, Gail Papineau of Kenosha, WI and Connie Goede (Steven) of Edgerton, WI; and her brother Nyle Stierna (Mary) of Ann Arbor, MI. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
