He was predeceased by: his wife Martha E. McElroy (McDowell); his parents, Louana McElroy and Richard McElroy; his sister Myrtle Belle Ruchti; and his siblings-in-law, Marian McElroy (Al), Georgene Price (Keith) and Bill McDowell (Faye).
He is survived by: his brother Alfred McElroy. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and their children.
