He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Edwards and Olga Edwards; and his sister Jane Stark of Bluffton, MN.. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Griffin; his daughter Pamela Leonard (Wayne) of Newfoundland; his grandchildren, Katrina Rye (Charlie) of Waukesha, WI and Cory Leonard of Newfoundland; his siblings, Sharon Arends of Alexandria, MN, Sue Richards of Kenosha, WI, Lee Edwards (Linda) of Bluffton, MN, Danny Edwards (Adrienne) of King, WI and Paul Edwards (Michele) of Brainard, MN.; his mother-in-law Mrs Anne Griffin; and his brother Freshwater.
