With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Armando Tamez of Zion, Illinois, who passed away on December 2, 2020 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alberto Tamez and Isabel Tamez; and his brother Federico Tamez. He is survived by: his wife Eva Tamez; his children, Juan Tamez (Sandra), Carlos Tamez (Judith), Iris Tamez and Jose Tamez (Karen); his siblings, Maria Rosa Gutierez (Pablo), Alberto Tamez Jr. (Yolanda) and Mario Tamez; and his sister-in-law Olga Tamez. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
