It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen Wedge of Zion, Illinois, born in Waukegan, Illinois, who passed away on June 11, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wedge and Pearl Wedge; his brother Lawrence Wedge; his sister-in-law Barbara Wedge; his nephew-in-law David Spurgeon; and his grandparents, Clarence, Jessie Wedge, George and Gladys Melka.
He is survived by: his daughter Donna Markey (Ron) of Albuquerque, NM; his siblings, Bonnie Shepperd (James) of Wadsworth, IL and Kenneth Wedge of Lake Linden, MI; his grandson Scott Ford of Albuquerque, NM; his nieces, Deborah Spurgeon of Wadsworth, IL and Laurie Hatton (James) of Zion, IL; and his nephew John Shepperd (Julie) of Pleasant Prairie, WI. He is also survived by 2 grandnieces and 4 grandnephews.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the service will take place privately.
