It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence R. Streitmatter of Wyoming, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on June 7, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Streitmatter and Lena Streitmatter (Bayer); and his siblings, Marilyn, Frank and Kenny.

He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Steve Streitmatter (Cindi) of Texas, Jonathan Streitmatter of Colorado, Susan Streitmatter of Colorado, Bob Duncan (Patti) of Arizona and Joy Anderson of Washington; and his cousins, Dave, Larry and Jerry. He is also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Stark County Junior Fair Building Fund.
