She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Hodges (Ted) and Velma L. Hodges (McLane); her husband Charles Eugene Barton; her sister Alma L. Darnell; and her sisters-in-law, Sharon Hodges and Raylene Hodges.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Barton (Jeanie Lindahl) of Kewanee, IL and Ruth Lang (Bruce) of Galva, IL; her granddaughters, Stephanie Johnson (DJ), Brandi Temple (Rob) and Sarah Barton; her great grandchildren, Leilani Johnson, Carsyn Abbott and Cypress Temple; her brothers, Clarence O. Hodges and John E. Hodges; and her brother-in-law James Darnell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
