She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph M. Cox and Bernadette Cox (Sager); her former husband Douglas S. Banz; her sons, Gregory and Stephen Banz; her siblings, Clement, Kenneth, Robert Cox, Jeane Saline and Mildred Stear; and her nephew Keith Cox.

She is survived by: her children, Barb Peterson (Jeff) of Wyanet and Jeff Banz (Michelle) of Davenport; her grandchildren, Kelly, Kim Banz, Tyler and Lauren Peterson; her siblings, William Cox (Jeanie) of Wyoming and Lois Smith of Peoria; and her husband Doug. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
