He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Rachel and Martha Rachel (Needham); his brother Tom Rachel; and his siblings-in-law, Jackie Rachel and James Tiller.
He is survived by: his spouse Ferris; his children, Michelle Draminski (Scott) of Wyoming, Marland Rachel (Nicole) of Galva, Matthew Rachel (Toni) of Ozark and Marlo Ingram (Jason) of Wyoming; his grandchildren, Seth, Shad, Shai, Wade, Caden, Tyler, Ashlynn, Alex, Baylee, Addison and Elizabeth; his brothers, Joe Rachel of St. Louis and Dale Rachel of Illinois; and his sisters-in-law, Karen Rachel of Oregon, Eleanor "Peaches" Tiller of Florida and Sandi Clark (Bob) of Wyoming, Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
