It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bernard E. Vermeire (Wyoming, Illinois), born in Sheffield, Illinois, who passed away on July 18, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ceriel Vermeire and Ella Vermeire (VanBevren); his son Kevin Vermeire; and his brother Francis Vermeire. He is survived by: his wife Janet Bangtson; his daughter Denise Mercer (Kevin) of Wyoming; his grandsons, Wayne, Brian Vermeire (Pamela) of Denham Springs, LA, Seth Mercer (Nichole) of Wyoming and Ben Mercer (Kristina) of Peru; his great grandchildren, Owen Mercer, Chloe Mercer, Michael Barrett and Caleb Barrett; and his sisters-in-law, Donna Vermeire of Geneseo and Edna Bangtson of Bloomington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
