He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Swanson and Frances Swanson; and his granddaughter Kristiana Faustin. He is survived by: his wife Karen J. Swanson; his children, Cheryl Faustin (Mark), Leisa McNamara (Phil), Stephen Swanson and Kevin Swanson (Heidi); his grandchildren, Amber (James), Kyle (April), Justin, Jeremy, Joyce and Leah; his siblings, Gloria Idzior (Ted) and Richard Swanson (Evangeline); and his siblings-in-law, Nancy MacIntyre (Mark), Myron Leafblad (Connie) and Barry Boyer (Susan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
