Smiley (Wood River, Illinois), born in Edwardsville, Illinois, who passed away on September 5, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles B. Graham and Myrtle Graham (Wiley); her husband William Smiley; her son William; her grandchildren, Crystal Sherman and Takisha Smiley; her siblings, Pauline, Margaret Ann, Paul, Marion "Andy", Clarence "Jack", Wilbert, Bernard, Bennerd, Donald, Charles, Bobby Dean and Chester; and her sons-in-law, Corey Jones and Aaron Newlun.
She is survived by: her children, Shelia (Alvah Herrin), Karen (Mike Brown), Peggy Newlun of Indiana, Penny (David Davis), Linda (Richard Stasen), Tracie Smiley of East Alton, Jerri Jones of Godfrey and Robert Smiley of Eldorado. She is also survived by twenty one grandchildren, forty nine great grandchildren, nine great great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
