Olive Tate Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Olive Tate (Wood River, Illinois), who passed away on June 22, 2023 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Main and Juanita Main (Jones); and her husband William Mitchell Tate. She is survived by: her daughter Annette; her son-in-law James Highley of Carlinville; her son Robert; her daughter-in-law Melissa Davis of Carlyle; her grandchildren, Olivia, Shelby and Courtney; her stepchildren, Deanne (Michael Jockish) of Fenton and William Mitchell Tate, Jr. of Summerfield; her stepgrandson Tate Jockish of Fenton; her siblings, Katherine Main of Alton, John Main of Florida and Richard Main of Carlinville; and her close friend Linda Moore of Alton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and special friends.
