It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mack Young Jr. (Wood River, Illinois), born in Benton, Missouri, who passed away on January 6, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack and Lillian "Margie" Young, Sr. (Doty); his son Daniel Young; and his brothers, Dennis and James.
He is survived by: his wife Shelia Ann Aldrich; his son Michael L.; his daughter-in-law Denise Young of Wood River; his daughters, Debra (William "Jeff" Campbell) and Diane (Chlorus Cox); his grandchildren, Crystal Wilson (Craig), Michael Young (Donia), Alexis Young, Alexander Young, Joshua Young (Chrissie), Zakary Young, Alyssa Horne (Griffin), Mara Cook (Nathan), Brandon Cox and Mackenzie Cox; his great grandchildren, Westin, Willa Claire, Haylee, Hunter, Donavin, Tyler, Logan, Mason and Karsen; his siblings, Cindy Nance of Sikeston and David; his sister-in-law Lois Young of Sikeston; and his son Transport. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
Due to the current CDC guidelines, face masks are required.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church in Maryville or to the African Vision of Hope (AVOH) a mission through First Baptist Church in Maryville and will be accepted at the funeral home.
