He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Chairney and Alice "Wilma" Chairney (Graham). He is survived by: his spouse Jean Honegger; his children, Christine McGoveran of Wood River, Louis Chairney (Kaitlyn) of Bethalto, Lee Chairney (Haylee Pope) of Edwardsville and Luke Chairney of Wood River; his grandchildren, Daniel, Tyler, Courtney, Ava, Lennox and Lyndon; his great grandchild Frank Thomas McGoveran; and his sister Fran DeMarchi of New York. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Health Well Foundation or to Foodstock NFP and will be accepted at the funeral home.
