He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Dean and Iris Ann Dean (Myers); and his brothers, James, Freeman and Raymond.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce M. Davis; his daughters, Deborah Hanko (Rodger) of Worden and Lori Smith (Brad Sands) of East Alton; his grandchildren, Derek Smith of Edwardsville, Alexandra Schneider of Lexington and Olivia Smith of East Alton; his siblings, Ruth Floyd of Roxana and Murriel; and his sister-in-law Janey Dean of Knoxville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
