With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harriet Susanna Bean (Wood River, Illinois), born in Matthews, Missouri, who passed away on May 3, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar S. Heldenbrand and Anna Gertrude Heldenbrand (Martin); and her siblings, Lorene, Hazel, Clara, Thelma, James, John, Harrison, Wesley and Peggy.
She is survived by: her husband Joe Frank Bean; her children, Dr. Melissa Bean (Charles Halbeck) of Creve Coeur, Dr. Janella Moy (Edward Moy) of Edwardsville, Kevin Bean (Victoria) of Springfield and Joseph Bean (Karen Munger) of Town; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Singer, Charles Halbeck, Skyler Halbeck, Dr. Jonathan Bean (Erin), Dr. Andrew Bean (Flora Zhou), Dr. Richard Moy (Charlotte Moy), Dr. Samuel Moy (Sharon Tai), William Moy (Lauryn Cartagine), David Bean, Alison Bean and Michael Bean. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Roxana and Alzheimer's Association and will be accepted at the funeral home.
