She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Pate and Ruby Pate (Bice); and her stepmother Vivian Pate. She is survived by: her daughters, Sonya (Ray Edwards) and Kimberly (Luke Lenhardt); her grandchildren, Ava Edwards, Makenna Lenhardt and Owen Edwards; her daughter Taylor McDaniels; her brother William; and her sisters-in-law, Conna Pate of Jackson, Missouri and Linda Garcia of Cottage Hills. She is also survived by nieces; nephews; other extended family and friends.
