He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald "Don" and Judy Carpenter (Hord). He is survived by: his wife Tina Hardin; his children, Michael Carpenter, Staci (Michael Coles) and Sara Dixon of Roxana; his grandchildren, Faith, Cole, Austin, Sophia, Caroline, Carter and Claire; and his sisters, Nancy (David Jackson), Paula (Mike Wankowski) and Laura Carpenter of Wood River. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
