He was predeceased by: his parents, Bright E. Baker and Bessie S. Baker (Brown); his wife Anna Lee Verge; his son Boyd Baker; and his sisters, Georgia and Betty Jo.
He is survived by: his daughter Mary Ann Wilhite of Bethalto; his grandchild Stacee Wilhite; his grandson-in-law Jeff Lowe of Santa Clarita; and his grandchildren, Justin, Renae Wilhite of Bethalto, Stephanie and Tony Librera of St. Petersburg. He is also survived by five great grandchildren, two great - great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association and will be accepted at the funeral home.
