It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cathy (Ryder) Berry (Wood River, Illinois), born in Marion, Indiana, who passed away on September 23, 2020, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Howard Ryder and Edna; her husband James; her son Brian Berry (Miranda Stoklosa) of East Alton; her stepdaughter Courtney Berry (Jake Chavez) of Glen Carbon; her grandchildren, Tanner and Quinlin; and her brothers, Ron (Ruth Ryder), Jeff (Leslie Ryder) and Brad Ryder of Huntsville, Alabama. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, face masks will be required and social distancing guidelines will be followed.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, which will be accepted at the funeral home.

Grew up and went different ways still both of us usually attended the class reunions with Cathy working very hard and helpful for other classmates to have their best memories at each reunion Cathy always gave her whole heart. She will never be forgotten and sadly missed by all. My condolences to her family. Parents, husband, children, siblings and other family members and all who love her.”
