She was predeceased by: her parents, James Melville Pierce and Grace Allfree Pierce; her siblings, James Melville Pierce (Joanne Owens) and Susan Pierce Hilliard (late Robert); her son Matthew Pierce Langan (late Mary Elizabeth); and her former husband Edward A. Langan of St. Louis.
She is survived by: her children, Louise Pierce Langan Tabor of Roselle, Edward Augustine (Ted) and James Andrew Langan (Susan) of Winnetka; her daughter-in-law Jill Mitchell Langan of Clarendon Hills; and her grandchildren, Sean McCoy Langan (Annette), Eric Andrew Langan, Caroline Grace Langan and Anna Francis Langan. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
