It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy S. Von Holten (Williamsville, Illinois), born in Rock Falls, Illinois, who passed away on October 25, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Martenson and Marie Martenson (Lofgren); her husband James Von Holten; and her daughters, Phyllis Brandt and Vicky Von Holten.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Von Holten of Williamsville and Rodney Von Holten (Cathie) of Springfield. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren plus many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to New Life Lutheran Church.
