It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl K. Kowalski of Wheaton, Illinois, born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, who passed away on April 25, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Robert Kauffman. She is survived by: her mother Nancy Kauffman; her grandson Andrew; her husband Dr. John Kowalski; her children, Amy Rossetti (David) and Andrew Kowalski; and her siblings, Lynn Behling (Marshall) and Douglas Kauffman. She is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Even in recent years, Cheryl didn't let her cancer diagnosis amid the uncertainty of the pandemic slow her down, as she and John converted their car into a camper and road-tripped their way to Colorado to rendezvous with their children.
