He was predeceased by: his sister Joanne Maurer; and his parents, Doris Holmes and Dr. George Holmes. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Holmes; his children, Gregory Holmes (Crystal Holmes), Kristin Clifford (Tim Clifford) and Lisa Holmes (John Comeau); his grandchildren, Danielle Comeau, Tracie Holmes, Rebecca Hickey, Jason Shane and Emerson Clifford; his great grandchild Jack Shane; and his sister Linda Morgan of Arlington Heights, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
