He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Sexton and Eva Daniel Sexton; his wife Margaret Peters; his daughter Patricia Jone; and his great grandchildren, Saige Sadler and Henry Kesinger.
He is survived by: his children, Laurie Sprague of Waverly and Angie Sexton (Craig Barber) of Waverly; his grandchildren, Darin Boggs of Springfield, Mandee Bresnahan (Chase) of Centerville, Danielle Kesinger (Josh) of Waverly, Emilee Sadler (Richard Conder) of Springfield and Jacob Sadler (Kirston Warren) of Springfield; and his siblings, Helen McGarvey of Jacksonville, Gladys Padgett (Gene) of Jacksonville and Floyd Sexton, Jr. (June) of Jacksonville. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
