She was predeceased by: her parents, James Vernon and Veda Mae Newberry Gooden; her husband James E. Watts; and her siblings, Betty Armstrong, Marilyn Scott, Donna Jones, James, Warren and Charles.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Hartman (Mike) of Jacksonville and Jim Watts (Rhonda) of Waverly; her grandsons, David Hartman (Mackenzie) of Grand Junction, Doug Hartman (Laura) of Omaha, NE, Danny Hartman (Katie) of Jacksonville, Nick Watts (Liz) of Oakaville and Grant Watts (Beth) of O'Fallon; and her great grandchildren, Lauralye, Lilian, Miles, Perry, Dakota, Jakob and Harrison. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
