He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur W. Gearhart and Beatrice R. Johnson Gearhart; his daughters, Marchelle and Diana; his stepdaughters, Connie Forren, Cathy Gray and Colleen Pierce; and his sisters, Wilma, Joyce and Lorraine.
He is survived by: his former wife Joyce J. Beeler; his wife Betty Gearhart (Allen) of Waverly; his children, Quinn Gearhart of Lansing, Kenny Beeler (Ophelia) of Jacksonville, Reva Hienzie of Grayling, Norine Beeler-Hollemans (Bill) of Wyoming and Sandy Huffman (Don) of Mancelona, Michigan; and his stepchildren, Ken Forren (Rachael) of Farmingdale, Gary Gray of Hallsville, Missouri, Candee Carman (Mike) of Blanchard, Carol Turner (Russ) of Chatham and Christine Allen (Nancy) of Springfield. He is also survived by several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Waverly Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad, 160 S. Prospect St., Waverly, IL 62692.
