James Wilson Obituary
James L. Wilson, 55, of Waverly, Illinois died Saturday, March 6, 2004 at Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville. He was born on February 5, 1949 in Jacksonville, the son of the Lois A. Wilson. He married Agnes Gray on November 11, 1969. Surviving are his wife; two sons: Jimmy (Heather) Wilson of Waverly, Illinois and Ralph D. Wilson of Seattle Washington; one daughter; Charlene (Bill) Plummer of Kincaid, Illinois; five grandchildren: James Dean, Gabriella, William and Joshua Wilson of Waverly and Christopher Plummer of Kincaid.
Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his mother. Mr. Wilson enjoyed playing racecar games with his son. He served in the United States Army from 1966 until 1969, serving in Viet Nam for one year and Germany for one year. Mr. Wilson was of the Baptist Faith. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Neece Funeral Home in Waverly.
Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday with the family meeting friends from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Jacksonville East Cemetery in Jacksonville. Memorials are suggested to the family.
